A Style-Filled Session with Ashley
When Ashley’s mom, who happens to be my neighbor, reached out about her daughter’s senior photos, I was excited to bring this vision to life. We planned a relaxed afternoon in downtown Charleston, with a few outfit changes and some of the city’s most iconic backdrops.
Downtown Charleston is one of my favorite places to photograph seniors. The cobblestone streets, pastel walls, iron gates, and secret alleyways give every frame a timeless feel. Ashley’s session was the perfect blend of elegance and personality. She brought a few carefully chosen looks that allowed us to capture everything from soft and classic to bold and confident.
What made this session even more special? I’ve had the privilege of working with Ashley’s family many times since. After this senior shoot, I photographed her older sister’s wedding, and we’ve stayed connected through different chapters of their lives. It’s always an honor when families trust me again and again to document these milestones.
Senior sessions like Ashley’s are such a fun celebration of individuality and growth, and there’s no better place to do it than the heart of Charleston.
