By making sure that your photographer licensed and insured you know you are dealing with a professional. I, also, send my clients contract agreement with the key terms and conditions for the session.
HAVE YOU RECEIVED NEWBORN SAFETY POSING TRAINING?
That means SAFETY for your baby!!! This one also distinguish professional photographer from hobbyist. Professional photographers take time to learn how to keep your baby safe, invest in their education. What can be more important then your baby safety? You should feel absolutely comfortable handling your baby to your photographer. That means that your photographer must have completed hands on newborn safety posing training.
DO YOU SANITIZE YOUR PROPS BETWEEN CLIENTS?
I do laundry after each session. All of my newborn bonnets and some wraps are handmade and require hand washing. I use non toxic baby detergent that is not harsh on baby skin. Any item that comes into contact with baby is property cleaned and sanitized.
CAN I SEE A FULL GALLERY FROM A SESSION?

Newborn session can be done in the first couple weeks and cannot be redone after that. Babies are only little once! Choose your newborn photographer wisely, you must feel comfortable with your photographer. I am so grateful that my clients choose me to document such a special time in their family.
